Container Handling Equipment Manufacturers Association

Membership of CHEM is available, subject to meeting certain criteria, to companies which are actively engaged in the manufacture and/or the supply of equipment for the compaction, collection and transportation of all types of dry waste.

The equipment referred to includes:

• Refuse collection bodies and associated bin lifters.
• Skip loaders.
• Ground level de-mountable equipment (hook loaders).
• Static and portable compactors.
• Bulk transportation ejection bodies/trailers.
• Recyclable waste collection bodies and associated lifters.
